At Creative City Design, we believe that websites should be as unique as the people they are created for and therefore design only custom sites. We offer a free one hour consultation with all prospective web design clients. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and make sure we're on the same page prior to beginning the design process.
The design process for websites takes place in the following stages:
STAGE 1: The Consultation
You book a consultation. You will receive a questionnaire to fill out prior to our meeting to get you thinking about what the contents of your website will be and your design preferences.
During your consultation, we will use your questionnaire as a touching off point. We'll talk about you and your business, your reasons for wanting a website, and what goals you'd like your website to help you achieve. We will also go over any specific aesthetic preferences and budgetary restrictions, so that we can take this into account.
After our consultation, you will get a pretty good idea of what your website will cost and if needed, we can suggest alternatives to meet your current budget. If you want to go ahead at that point, we will go over particulars for payment. As soon as we have a deposit in hand, we'll get to work.
STAGE 2: The Mock-Up
Generally within 5 business days, you will receive a mock-up of your website (one to two pages in rough sketch form). If you are really clear about what you want, we will generally only prepare one design mock-up ...
If you are less specific, we will provide a second mock-up for no additional fee.
STAGE 3: Selection and Refinement
You look over the mock-ups we provide. You choose the design you like the most and specify what changes you'd like to make. We will execute the changes and provide you with an altered mock-up. Once you approve this design, we move on to the final stage of the design process.
STAGE 4: Final Website
Once the design is approved, we begin the magical process of turning design to code, so that your website both looks and works great. We will need all text, images, and media at this time. Once we have implemented both the design and content, you will have one more chance to review the site before full launch!
